Saucy Science for Vivacious Valentines
Join us for our first adults only valentines’ event where you will taste your way through aphrodisiac appetisers and learn about which insect has continuous sex for 10 weeks! Delve into the lusty love lives of ancient gods and goddesses plus reveal the rather unglamorous married lives of historic mere mortals.
During the evening you will hear from two industry professionals, our museum scientist Catherine King, who will experiment with the human pain threshold and teach you about the wild sex lives of insects with spiky penises and exploding genitals! Joining the fabulous night of love and learning will be world renowned classicist, Dr Marguerite Johnson who will take you on a whirlwind tour of sex in ancient Greece with connections between the ancient and the modern perspectives on love and romance.
A night out for lovers or friends, classicist’s, Entomologists and food lovers or anyone looking for something for something fun on Valentine’s day!
