Workshop with Speaking in Colour - Weaving for Everyone

Join Speaking in Colour for an afternoon of weaving. Suitable for beginners, budding creatives, weavers and especially non-Aboriginal people wanting to learn about weaving.

We will start with a wearable art work (braclet) moving onto a small woven bowl, you can extend as you like into what ever you like. We will also explore traditional fibres, pigments and stick variations.

A afternoon tea is provided, with lots of fun and laughter.

Bookings required, limited spaces available.


NESA Acceditation available
Completing Interwoven (Aboriginal Weaving) training will contribute 3hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 1.1.2, 2.2.2 & 6.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
