About the films:

Feature film "Animals" is not to be missed! Based on the novel by Emma Jane Unsworth, "Animals" strikes as a fierce and unapologetic celebration of female friendship. An intimate, funny and bittersweet examination of the challenges of turning talent into action, and being a modern woman, with faults, longings, and competing desires.

This film is not for the light hearted and has an "R" rating.
Additionally this event will see the screening of locally made short film "My Uncles."
"My Uncles" is a personal story of the homosexuality, joys and challenges of over 40 years culminating marriage.

Heated Jackets. Levitating desk lights. Barking Wallets. Crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter have seeded a virtual revolution in funding the un-fundable. But what happens to this $34 billion industry when the wheels fall off? 'Lost In The Crowd' follows the triumphs and pitfalls of three crowdfunded filmmakers seeking answers from this unregulated space.
