Victoria Theatre Virtual Reality Experience during History Week

The Victoria Theatre on Perkins Street, Newcastle is the oldest standing theatre building in NSW. The Victoria Theatre VR application, created by the University of Newcastle School of Creative Industries and IT Services, takes the user in virtual reality to opening night in 1891 where you can enter the building, see the colourful décor, posters of shows presented in the theatre, photographs of the theatre in different stages, and enjoy a short show.

A free experience available for visitors during Museum opening hours during History Week 2019.

No bookings required.
