Cruise Ship Art Bazaar
Some of the region’s most talented artists will showcase their works to international and domestic cruise ship visitors in a series of Cruise Ship Art Bazaar markets at Newcastle Museum commencing Saturday 19 January.
The markets are one of a number of initiatives by The City of Newcastle, Newcastle Museum and Cruise Hunter in conjunction with Hunter Arts Network to enhance the visitor experience for cruise ship visitors to Newcastle.
The Museum has been a popular attraction so far this cruise ship season and the markets are an added reason for visitors to make their way to the Civic precinct and Honeysuckle.
The markets will feature a large number of artists practising in many mediums. There will be six markets for the cruise ship season this year, each tailored to suit the clientele and passenger demographic expected on each cruise ship.
The markets will be held from 9am -3pm on:
- Saturday 19 January
- Saturday 16 February
- Tuesday 19 February
- Sunday 24 March
- Thursday 19 April
- Sunday 26 May
