HMRI Poo Palace: Saturday 22 August
Welcome to a big weekend of Science at Newcastle Museum!
The HMRI Poo Palace is welcoming children on Saturday 22 August 10am – 3pm. Tickets will be released from 9am on Friday 21 August.
Please note the following before booking your ticket:
- Tickets only need to be booked for children; adults do not need a ticket.
- Sessions are 30 minutes long: this is 10 minutes for the education portion, 15 minutes on the Poo Palace jumping castle with 5 minutes for finding your shoes and exiting the area. Please exit the jumping castle quickly to allow the next group to have their turn.
- The Poo Palace is a jumping castle, and as such is not suitable for pregnant women, people with mobility issues, claustrophobia or heart conditions.
- Adults should be prepared to enter the Poo Palace should your child become distressed and need you.
- Shoes need to be removed to enter the Poo Palace.
- The Poo Palace is located inside the Museum. The queue entrance is next to Front Desk.

Want to book tickets on the HMRI Poo Palace at the Hunter Science Festival on Sunday 23 August? Scan the QR code when you get to the festival! Tickets will be released at 9:30am, 11:30am and 2:30pm on Sunday 23 August, so it won’t just be first come first served.
