Ever wondered what’s inside a dolphin flipper? Or how sharp a shark's jaw really is? Bring the kids along for a hands-on adventure into our coastal habitats with Caring for our Coast, a fascinating mini museum experience from the Australian Museum!

Get up close and curious with real Museum objects like a Port Jackson Shark jaw, an Abalone shell, a cross-section of a midden and more. You’ll even meet a beautifully detailed rockpool diorama packed with 25 different ocean creatures and coastal plants! But wait - there’s more! Spin up some tunes, stories and fun facts with our interactive Yoto Player, which brings each object to life through sound.

This playful learning experience is perfect for curious preschoolers, educators, and grown-up explorers too. Drop in and discover the coast like never before!
