Experience the colour, sound, taste and diversity of our city as we celebrate the many diaspora that call Newcastle home. Connect with community as we take over Museum Park with a vibrant celebration of diverse traditions, food, art forms, and cultural expressions. Join our MC across two stages for food demonstrations, live music, dance, and performances by world music favourites, Worlds Collide and The Ghana Road Show.
This free community event will feature cooking demonstrations, interactive kids workshops and a wide range of musical and dance performances including a colourful lion dance by Jin Wu Koon, belly dancing and African drum and dance displays, as well as a fire show and DJ sets.
Registrations are not required, but you may register your interest to receive future updates and weather notices. Please note exact schedule timings are subject to change.

The Ghana Road Show fuse theatre, circus, dance and music, in an unforgettable celebration of the richness of West African arts told through a contemporary lens. This captivating all-ages show entwines thrilling circus acts with traditional African dance and rhythmic drum beats set to the freshly curated tunes of DJ Lady Chika.
Worlds Collide are straight out of the urban jungles of Western Sydney... Riffs, Rhymes and Culture. Worlds Collide is the intersection of our multicultural nation, seven cultures coming together creating new contemporary Australian music. They weave a global and contemporary sound into their infectious music, fusing culture, hip hop rhymes, grooves, melodic hooks and languages into a fun, authentic and powerful experience.
