ReFashion Lab: Waste to Wardrobe workshops

Explore the creative potential of discarded sheets, upcycling them into your own pair of relaxed fit elastic waistband pants.

This 3-hour workshop, using textiles recovered from the City of Newcastle’s Give A Sheet event, teaches a simple style of pants with pockets. 

Using one or multiple sheets combined in your pants, you can choose to be understated or create a real statement!

All materials and equipment, including sewing machines, are provided.

Beginners and those more experienced with machine sewing are welcome.

Workshop dates and times:

• Wednesday 10 June, 4 – 7pm 
• Saturday 13 June, 10am – 1pm
• Friday 26 June, 10am – 1pm

Cost: $10 per person

Ages: Adults/late teens
