School Programs & Tours

Across all sectors of Newcastle Museum we aim to support educators from a range of learning institutions.

Our Museum provides a range of accessible education programs tailored to all levels of learning, from early childhood, primary and high school, to tertiary and continued learning institutions. Whether an art, history, science, or drama class we provide an inspiring environment to offer every group. A fresh new museum with continually changing exhibitions ensures a unique visit every time.

An important role of the Museum is the provision of a range of accessible education programs. These are tailored to all levels of learning, from early childhood, primary and high school, to tertiary and continued learning institutions.

Self Guided Visits

You are welcome to visit the Museum with your class and take them on a self guided tour of our exhibitions.

We still require all schools to book with us, even if you are planning on a self guided visit. Contact our Education Officer on 4974 1422 to discuss and confirm dates and times for your visit.

You can find details about transport, lunch areas, bag drop offs and other useful information on our  Plan Your Visit page.
