Visitor Services Volunteer

Visitor Services Volunteers enhance the experience of visitors by providing information, answering queries about the Museum, providing directions, general information and referrals to staff. This position is front line service and provides support to the Museum Visitor Services Officers. You may also be asked on occasion to help out with special programming and event when required.

This position requires you to obtain a current Working with Children Check, which is free for volunteer positions.
 

Recruitment and Training

New volunteers are recruited at the Museum's discretion, and when a position becomes available. New volunteers will be asked about their skill set, experience and career goals to find out what kind of volunteering would best suit, and if the Museum is the right place for you. New volunteers are provided with on the job training for this position.
